Mommy saw this rainbow when I was driving home. You could not see any other part of the rainbow because of the clouds.

We as a family walked all the way up all 136 steps. In some places there was not much light coming through the windows.

This year when we woke up on Christmas morning to see what Santa had left there was alittle bit of a surprise.... there was NO power in the house. That night there was a bad wind storm that came through so in the morning we had to wait for the sun to come up so we could see what your presents where. All of your brothers and sisters camped out in mommy and daddy's room and played with the toys that you got from your Aunt Angela and Uncle Victor to pass the time.

This year we went over to Meamaw and Granddaddy's house for the annual Easter egg hunt in the back yard. You did collect alot of eggs and then you gave them to your younger sister Paige which made her so happy. Thank you Patrick for being such a nice brother.

Boy or Pat?

Patrick hey bud or like your sister call you Pat (not one of my favorite nicknames) or we can just go with boy. What I want you to know right now is how much I love you and how much your father loves you too. Being a kid is not easy especially when you want to do whatever you want because it looks so fun. Just know that even if you don't think so mommy and daddy do what we do because we love you. In telling you what to do and we do know what is best for you. Just always be honest and happy with yourself. Always know Patrick that you can always come to your dad and me for anything. Your dad and I are not the only ones you can turn to always know that you can ask your Heavenly Father to help and guide you with what ever might be bothering you are if you need anything.
You have really surprised me lately when it comes to your reading. You and I would get so frustrated to get you to read when you where just learning. You did not want anything to do with it. You have read so many books lately that I am really proud of you. You even started reading the Harry Potter Series and those are not short books. You also love to read books that are full of facts. I am so proud of you keep it up.

This explains it all

This is so you! You can not get enough of playing with your baguan's. I have decided to start a blog for you in my writing of things that you are doing or things that your father and I just want you to know as you grow up. I have written you letter but I thought I would get alittle creative and get with the times and start a blog and have it printed out once a year in a book for so you could always go back and read what you did as a child or what you had trouble in and how you got through things. Here we go!
